The risks faced by public and private organizations are becoming increasingly critical and complex to manage. To sustain adequate Corporate Governance, business management requires, therefore, improved tools to efficiently identify and mitigate the various types of risks that lurk.Among such tools, it is crucial to have efficient assurance functions that are properly coordinated with each other and with the rest of the organization.In this interesting and valuable course, we will address a strategy so that Internal Audit can rise to this challenge, coordinating and adequately arranging assurance and consulting tasks to provide comprehensive risk coverage that exceeds the usual scope of operational risk to transcend to strategic risk.Throughout the activity we will explore a systematic methodology for the organization to identify and manage all its risks, the crucial tools for it and the appropriate internal audit strategy to initially achieve its due implementation through consulting work, and later its validation through assurance. DWe will also address the formulation of the annual internal audit plan based on risks, as well as the implications of the risk approach in the conduct of assurance assignments and specifically in each of the stages that make them up.It is an activity of utmost importance and value for internal auditors and management and managerial functions
