По умолчанию The Evolution of the History of Gambling

Taking risks and playing games of chance are among humanity's oldest habits. Archaeological excavations reveal that as far back as ancient Egypt, China, and the Roman Empire, people gambled using dice crafted from various stones or animal bones. In those times, such games served both as a form of entertainment and as a means to discern the will of fate.
Over time, these games became more structured. The first official casino, "Il Ridotto," opened in Venice, Italy, in the 17th century—a milestone that laid the foundation for the legalization of gambling and its integration into culture. While card games and roulette became staples for the European elite during the 19th century, the emergence of Las Vegas in the 20th century transformed gambling into a global industry.
Today, we live in the era of blockchain and artificial intelligence. This evolution—from the dice games of antiquity to modern online casinos—serves as clear evidence that the innate human drive for excitement and the pursuit of chance will never fade away.
