The delivery of health and social care is undergoing ongoing change, and in recent years, we have witnessed a notable increase in the creative application of technology to support or provide people's care.

I'm passionate about ensuring that patient safety and high-quality treatment stay at the centre of how services evolve. The makers of digital triage tools and the organisations that employ them should make sure that the results they provide are supported by the best available data from sources both inside and outside of the health and social care industries. Tools must use pertinent clinical data, including that from the patient record, and effectively screen individuals based on their clinical risk and need. These tools must also take into account the various needs and situations of the users if they are to produce the greatest results and enhance quality of life.

Caring
