Another feature of this square backpack is its foam back panel. This provides extra cushion without adding a ton of weight. It's easily removable, and you can even use it as a seat cushion while on the go. One drawback of the Kanken, however, is its lack of a dedicated laptop compartment. However, it can still accommodate a tablet or Chromebook.
