Malcolm S Gerald Group Called My NEIGHBOR. Is That Even Legal?
I'm completely mortified and need some advice. The Malcolm S Gerald Group has been calling me non-stop about a debt. After ignoring them for a week, they called my next-door neighbor yesterday, asking for my current contact information and vaguely mentioning a "financial matter."
My neighbor told me about it this morning. I feel so violated that they're discussing my private business with other people. It's humiliating. Are they allowed to do this? I looked into my rights after it happened and found a resource that suggests this kind of contact with third parties is a serious violation. This feels like more than just annoying calls; it's public harassment. What can I do to make them stop? Has anyone successfully gotten them to cease contact after something like this? |
