What Does “Pencilizing” Actually Mean? Seeing It More Often
 

I’ve started seeing the term pencilizing in a few creative discussions recently. From what I understand, it seems related to converting images into sketch-style visuals, but I’m not completely sure.

Is this just a design technique, or is it tied to specific tools or software?

Would be great if someone could explain how pencilizing is actually used in real projects.
