What happens if I lose my Kansas Lottery ticket?

If you lose a winning ticket, the Kansas Lottery generally cannot replace it because tickets are treated like cash. Without the original ticket, claiming a prize is usually impossible. To protect yourself, sign the back immediately and store it safely. The Kansas Lottery advises checking tickets carefully and keeping them secure until claimed for any potential future verification.
