If you've been looking to lock down the late innings in Diamond Dynasty, SDS just dropped a massive bullpen upgrade. The new 95 OVR Standout Series
Zack Britton has officially arrived, and he looks like an absolute monster. This card is available as part of the limited-time June Countdown Program, which launched on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Heads Up on the Timer: This program is incredibly time-sensitive. It is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT. You only have a few days to get in there, grind out the points, and claim your rewards before it's gone for good.
How the Program Works: Watch the Gates!
Unlike traditional programs in MLB The Show where you can bounce around and finish missions in whatever order you want, the June Countdown Program is strictly gated. You have to progress through the tiers sequentially. You cannot start working on the harder missions until you clear the foundational steps:
Easy Missions: This is your starting point. Knock these out first to clear the tier. Keep in mind that you will need to jump into online multiplayer gameplay here, as this initial block features two specific online-focused missions.
Medium Missions: As soon as you finish the Easy block, the Medium tier unlocks automatically.
Hard Missions: Clearing the Medium missions opens up the final, hardest tier to help you maximize your point total.
You unlock the 95 OVR Zack Britton as soon as you hit the 50-point mark. If you feel like keeping the grind going, reaching 100 points rewards you with a 96 OVR Awards Series Ronald Acuña Jr. A huge plus for anyone looking to make stubs or tweak their roster: both player cards earned from this program are fully sellable on the Community Marketplace.
June Countdown Program Rewards Path
Along the way to Britton and Acuña, you will pick up a solid chunk of XP, Stubs, and packs. Here is how the reward tracking looks level by level:

95 OVR Zack Britton Card Breakdown: Is He Meta?
The short answer is yes. This card immediately slots in as the #2 Closer (CP) in the current competitive meta. Left-handed relievers with elite stuff are always premium commodities, but what makes this Britton card particularly dangerous is that he does not suffer from reverse splits. He is just as viable against righties as he is against lefties.
Pitch Arsenal: He features a devastating 4-pitch mix built to break bats. His primary pitch is his signature high-velocity Sinker, complemented by a sharp Slider, a 4-Seam Fastball to keep hitters honest, and a Circle Change for off-speed deception.
Key Ratings: 121 H/9 vs Lefties, 115 H/9 vs Righties, 115 Pitching Clutch, 99 Velocity, and 99 Break.
To make him even tougher on the mound, Britton comes with three highly practical quirks:
Homebody: Gives him a performance boost whenever you are playing in your home ballpark.
Stopper: Activates and boosts his attributes when your team is trailing, helping you keep the game within reach.
Day Player: Provides an extra edge during day games.
Overall, given that the card is fully sellable and arguably a top-two lefty option in the game right now, this program is well worth the weekend grind. Just make sure to knock out those online Easy Missions early so you don't get stuck behind the gated tier system before Tuesday's deadline!
