Description
In this course you will learn to build an automated solution with Robotic Processing Automation (RPA). This will not be a basic first automation, but a complex build which interacts with multiple screens within a system (a credit application system used by a financial services organisation) and 2 external systems - an e-signature system used to send customer agreement forms and an SMS Messaging system used to send SMS messages to update customers on the status of their applications. The automation will also include logic to deal with multiple scenarios rather than a straight through process, and will demonstrate all the typical RPA tools within the software. This example will enable you to understand a complex example and apply it to your own organisational scenario. This scenario is based on a complex process used by a real financial services organisation, with the process responsible for $m dollar lending based on this automation.
In the course we will firstly walk through the process which is going to be automated.
In the first module we will talk about the automation software in more detail, how to interact with applications, how to capture all the elements of a system (for example: text boxes, buttons, drop down menu items) for building the automation.
We will then build out our first object of the application, how the robot logs into the system using a username and password, and clicks the login button.
