This course teaches the full process of starting a mobile app.It goes over the fundamentals of programming, then shows how to create and configure an EC2 server on Amazon's AWS. After that, we build a backend and a frontend, using PHP & MySQL for the backend (running on an Nginx web server), and then frontend apps for iOS (and eventually Android). For iOS, we start by building the app with UIKit, and eventually build the same app with SwiftUI. When we ultimately get to Android, we'll build legacy and Jetpack Compose versions of this same app.Specifically, the app is just a mock forum app, with functionality for registration and login, posting and viewing threads, and replying. It's a simple app but is the perfect project to learn the basics of this whole process.We'll start with creating our EC2 instance and hooking it up to a custom domain of our choosing, followed by setting up our web server instance with Nginx. From there, we'll start building our backend, all the while digging deep to understand how everything works. Finally, we'll build our frontend mobile apps that hook into our backend API.You need no experience to follow this course. We do it all. From start to finish and with no presumptions.
