This training meets the requirements for AI awareness and governance for public sector and government-affiliated professionals. It provides a clear understanding of how artificial intelligence is used, where risks exist, and how to apply responsible practices in real-world workflows. The course is structured into guided modules followed by a required post-assessment to validate completion. The State of Texas has introduced a new mandate requiring artificial intelligence (AI) training for government employees under
House Bill 3512, passed during the 89th Legislature and effective September 1, 2025. At the end of the course, you will complete a post-assessment to demonstrate understanding of the material.

Annual Deadline: Agencies must certify compliance by
August 31each year. Non-compliance is reported to the Texas Legislature.
