So, let's draw expressive stick figures together.Who this course is forIf you're an absolute beginner at drawing, that's great. I'm here to make you believe that you are able to draw simple, but expressive human figures. If you're not a beginner, but you'd like to improve some of the basic drawing skills, you're also good to go with this course.What you will learnWe'll be drawing plenty of simple stick figures in all kinds of different body poses.You'll be learning:to draw static yoga poses: in standing, seated, prone, arm & leg support positionsto express emotional states like sadness, anger, happiness, etc.to draw human figures in actionDuring these drawing exercises you will learn how to make simplifications in you sketches. Being economical with your pencil or ink strokes is crucial when you illustrate human figures. You will also develop your ability to sense of space, and learn several techniques that make your 2-D figures more like 3-dimensional. You will learn about the proportions of the human body, its balance, and dynamics. all kinds of fun stuff. kind of drawing essentials.What tools you need?I'll be using an A4 size sketchbook paper (similar to the US Letter size), but you can also use the cheapest regular office paper.Mostly, I'll be using an inexpensive black ink, but feel free to use a graphite pencil or a pen, whatever you have at hand.Learn & practiceNow, I hope you're excited to dive into my entertaining figure drawing session.
