Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is increasingly used in everyday work.
Employees rely on AI tools to draft texts, summarise information, support decisions, and improve productivity. At the same time, the use of AI introduces new risks, such as incorrect outputs, lack of transparency, unclear accountability, data protection issues, and legal uncertainty. This course addresses these challenges in a structured and practical way.
This course provides the foundational AI literacy required under the EU AI Act (Article 4). It is designed for professionals who use AI systems at work or who are responsible for their use within an organisation. The focus is not on technical implementation or programming, but on building a clear, practical understanding of how AI should be used safely, responsibly, and in a compliant manner.
Participants learn how AI systems generally work, where their limitations lie, and which common failure patterns may occur, such as hallucinations, bias, or inappropriate automation. A strong emphasis is placed on the critical evaluation of AI‑generated outputs and on understanding that final responsibility always remains with humans.
The course also explains the regulatory context of the EU AI Act in clear and accessible language. Participants gain an understanding of the obligations related to AI literacy, how these obligations affect daily work, and how organisations can demonstrate a reasonable level of competence. The course distinguishes between acceptable, sensitive, and unacceptable AI use cases and highlights when additional verification, documentation, or escalation is required.
This course is practice‑oriented, clearly structured, and suitable for beginners with no prior background in artificial intelligence. It supports organisations in establishing a baseline level of AI literacy and helps individuals apply AI in a safe, responsible, and compliant way in their professional environment.
Who this course is for
■ Employees who use or will use AI tools in their daily work
■ Professionals without a technical background in artificial intelligence
■ Managers, team leads, and project managers
■ Anyone who needs to understand AI literacy requirements under the EU AI Act
