Description
This course is the first part of the lecture series on AutoCAD software. It takes you through Orthographic and Isometric Projection Drawing techniques. Various numerical are solved to explain various concepts and features of the software and for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software. Various assignments are given for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software.
We start with Basic Settings of Orthographic Projections namely, units, limits, limcheck and griddisplay. It explains how to create layers and how to set the dimension style.
Second section deals with Orthographic Projection Drawing. Two numericals are used to explain the techniques of orthographic projection drawings, how to give dimensions, how to take print, how to save the drawing and how to draw name plate and border.
Third section is all about the Sectional Orthographic Projection Drawing. Two numericals are solved to explain the procedure for solving such type of problem.
Lastly Fourth section is all about Isometric Projection Drawing. Two numericals are used to explain the techniques of isometric projection drawings, how to give dimensions, how to take print, how to save the drawing and how to draw name plate and border.
