The control scheme here is slightly different depending the game's platform, desktop or mobile devices, but its basic idea is the identical. You'll start a quest in the city, and then go into the wilderness, tapping or clicking incessantly to fight enemies, occasionally triggering special abilities or quaffing some healing potion. The battle isn't very deep however, it's a lot of fun and requires some strategic thinking, particularly when you find yourself surrounded by the hordes of demonic creatures and you have to manage special abilities' cooldowns as well as a small potency.
Diablo Immortal's core gameplay is almost identical that you'd see in the three previous Diablo games. Since Diablo is a mobile game at its core, actions seem a little less precise as well as character development seems more sloppy, and there's a general feeling that the game grants you plenty of room to make up for the lack of touch controls. This isn't a huge problem however, since the difficulty still ramps up in time.
In typical Diablo fashion, you'll also collect loot while playing and a great deal of it. Each enemy that you face will drop some sort amazing weapon or piece and you'll always be switching out equipment to get stronger with every turn. Anything you don't want is salvageable, and this is one of Diablo Immortal's finest features. Rather than just selling off equipment that isn't needed instead, you can use it to make parts, which you can use to empower the gear you want to keep.
