По умолчанию EZNPC Why Ultracite Scrap Farming Still Matters in 2026

Farm Ultracite scrap fast in Fallout 76: hit Cranberry Bog fissure sites for glowing ore, loot AMS HQ and Glassed Cavern, then server-hop and smelt with acid for steady endgame ammo and mod crafting.

Ultracite has a talent for disappearing the moment you decide to keep your build "prime-ready." One minute you're feeling set, next minute you're staring at a crafting menu with nothing to feed it. If you're already topping up ammo, repairs, and flux, the grind can get old fast. Some folks even take the edge off the prep by grabbing odds and ends from marketplaces like EZNPC when they'd rather be out actually playing than babysitting their stash.

Fissure Runs That Don't Waste Your Time

If you want steady ore, you end up back at Fissure Sites. Not because they're fun, but because they work. I do it like a loop, not a heroic stand. Start with a site you can reach quickly, sweep the glowing veins around the rim, then move on before the area turns into a Scorchbeast circus. You'll spot the green shine pretty easily once your eyes tune in. Bring RadAway, a hazmat option if you've got it, and a weapon that makes the "bat problem" short and boring. A crippling shotgun does the job, and a Tesla is great when you're getting mobbed and just need space to mine.

Indoor Farming When You Can't Be Bothered

On nights when I don't feel like fighting outside, I go indoors and treat Ultracite like office supplies. AMS Corporate HQ in Watoga is a calm pickup: check desks, toolboxes, and those corners people sprint past. It's not huge, but it's reliable and low drama. Then there's the Glassed Cavern, which is more work but pays off hard, especially after big boss traffic has you already in the area. Clear it, grab loose scrap and any veins you can reach, then do a quick server hop and repeat. It's repetitive, yeah, but it's also predictable, and that's the whole point when you're trying to stack materials.

Smelting Without Going Broke on Acid

Mining is only step one. Smelting is where your Acid vanishes and you start questioning your life choices. Before you hit the chemistry station, make it a habit: Super Duper on, always. The proc feels small until you watch it snowball over a week. I also mine in Excavator Power Armor even when I'm not chasing perfect math. The carry weight alone saves the run. You're not "farming efficiently" if you're crawling to a bench or dumping loot you actually need later.

Events That Top You Up While You Play

Public events can quietly carry your Ultracite supply if you loot like you mean it. Seismic Activity is great for this—Titan loot, miner drops, and all the scrap that piles up if you don't rush out. The Scorchbeast Queen and Earle runs help too, not because they hand you Ultracite neatly, but because the piles of parts and junk add up once you're scrapping everything between fights. Do your fissure loop, do an indoor reset when you're tired, then smelt in batches with your perks set, and you'll stop feeling "Ultracite poor" all the time. If you're also budgeting for plans, ammo, and vendor hopping, it doesn't hurt to keep an eye on Fallout 76 Bootle Caps so the caps side of the grind doesn't slow down the rest of your prep.
