Welcome
In this new series we're going to build some pretty remarkable things. Hardware, but also software for our hardware (like drivers, embedded code etc). And even if you have zero experience and zero knowledge of hardware design, as long as you're interested in technology, I will teach you the rest.

I will not focus on mathematical formulae - you will learn what is necessary to build this kinda stuff. And you will not only be able to follow along and build my projects. You will learn enough basics and background knowledge to design your own hardware from scratch on your own, by the end of this series.

Example of one episode's content"Today we'll try to design our very own inverter."

A device which takes an input (0 or 1) and returns the opposite. When we have a plausible electronic sketch we will try to build the thing. When we have a working inverter, we're going to try to combine it with an AND gate from a 74LS04 chip, turning it into a NAND gate. A very useful logical gate which, among other things, is an important building block for a memory cell. I will also show you how to turn an old USB cable into a +5 volt power source to your breadboard projects.
