A tundish stopper rod is used to regulate the flow rate of the molten metal being cast from the tundish into the mold, but some customers use the tundish slide gate plate instead of the stopper to control the liquid steel.

Our stopper has some features as follows:

extreme erosion and thermal shock resistant
Different materials for the stopper tip, like MgO / Al2O3 / ZrO2, for an optimized regulation during casting
We can deliver the monoblock stopper, including the stopper rod already pre-assembled
